AUDITOIRE: a Journal on Philippines Cinema [New Avant-Garde Movement Project] AUDITOIRE is a eclectic, pluralist, pro-Marxist film blog about world cinema chronicling both canonical and non-canonical films. It is based in the Philippines. It started as a one-man blog with no direction founded last February 23, 2008. It was initially owned by an eccentric Filipino cinephile named Adrian Mendizabal for three and a half years, and was later co-authored by Filipino-Canadian cinephile Chris Eriz Sta. Maria last July 25, 2011. It gained a following from various cinephiles around the world especially from parts of North America and Europe. In response, we create the movement. Through this movement, we use the memory into our psycho- affective system in the purpose to imagine our freedom, our cries, our drifts, our social struggles, our exile. In exile, all we are. We belong to this path. And we use it as an ultimate form of being. The Ideal is definitely established.
